Handcrafted log processing allows for the creation of unique solutions — it’s hard to find two identical houses. Since people’s visions of their future homes vary greatly, all our houses are typically built to custom order. The more detailed your project, the more accurately we can provide you with a manufacturing price.
You can order log house delivery kits in the following configurations:
- Log structure only the delivery set includes all materials necessary for assembling the log frame.
- Complete wooden structure the delivery set includes all the timber required to construct the entire building: the log frame, roof structure, wooden floors, ceiling and terrace materials, as well as accessories for assembling the wooden structure.
- Closed openings in addition to all timber materials, this package includes all necessary doors (exterior, balcony, and interior doors) and windows. Through Palkehituse OÜ, you can also order roofing materials and insulation for both the floor and roof.
One of the most important decisions to make before ordering a log house frame is the choice of log profile and corner joint type. These choices affect the house both aesthetically and structurally. You can find an overview of our offered log profiles and corner joints.
Our log houses are generally manufactured based on customized projects but we have created several sample projects as well to introduce our range of products. (sample projects).
If you have already acquired a construction site or are planning to purchase one, you should familiarize yourself with the construction regulations and the block plans of your local government. This would help to clarify the necessary conditions for the construction:
- The permitted gross floor area
- The permitted maximum height of the building
- The permitted angle of the roof pitch
- The permitted construction materials
- The requirements for technical systems (plumbing, electricity, etc.)
You should try to draw a sketch of your ideal log house by taking into account the limitations set in the construction regulations and block plans.
